Je suis travailleur indépendant dans l’audiovisuel, ce que j’aime dans le projet Correspondance c’est qu’il me permet de m’essayer à d’autres formes vidéo et sonores, nouvelles et ludiques.

En dehors de ce projet mes centres d’intérêts artistiques sont tournés vers la photographie et la musique. Mon travail photographique a plusieurs axes d’inspirations et de recherches autour du clair obscur, de la couleur et des formes. Si je le veux spontané et libre, je n’essaie pas moins de lui donner du sens. J’ai toujours beaucoup écouté de musique, John Cage, Debussy, Can, My Bloody Valentine, Autechre, Oval, Sonic Youth ou Archi Shepp sont autant de groupes qui ont comptés dans mon éducation musicale. Sans formation musicale particulière, la découverte de l’outil informatique a été le prétexte pour m’essayer à la musique. La légitimité appartient à celui ou celle qui la prend. J’ai depuis conçu plusieurs albums, me suis produit en public et ai commencé à jouer de la clarinette. Ma musique se veut elle aussi libre, j’essaie à travers elle autant d’emmener mes auditeurs dans des paysages abstraits ou poétique, que d’essayer de me surprendre. Elle fait référence aux groupes et musiciens que j’ai écouté et aussi aux musiques que j’aimerai entendre.

As an audio-visual freelancer, what I love about Correspondance is that it allows me to try out new and playful sound and video forms. Aside from this project, my centres of interest are orientated towards photography and music. My photographic work follows several lines of inspiration and experiment around light and dark, colour and form. Although I aim for a sense of freedom and spontaneity, there’s no deliberate intention towards the obscure; there is always meaning behind my work. I’ve always listened to music a lot; John Cage, Debussy, Can, My Bloody Valentine, Autechre, Oval, Sonic Youth ou Archi Shepp are some of the groups that have formed the basis of my musical education. Without having had a formal musical education, the discovery of new digital tools was the pretext for me to try making music. It’s my view that legitimacy belongs to those who create it. I have since conceived several albums, performed in public and started to play the clarinet. My music is also fairly freeform, my aim is more that of transporting my listeners to abstract or poetic landscapes, than one of surprising myself. It makes references to other groups and musicians that I’ve listened to, as well as to music that I like to hear.
